Self-love isn ' t selfish; it ' s essential. Join us as we develop confidence and manifest acceptance through group and individual excercises. During the program, we will explore many different ways in which we can focus on and improve our mental health including, but not limited to, journaling and scrapbooking, meditation, affirmations, projects, and games. You will want to take advantage of this opportunity to create healthy habits!

SHIELD-E BolT-Lig Horseback Riding
Age: 7 and up Min / Max: 4 Location: Equestrian Connection, Lake Forest
Saddle up! Equestrian Connection is a one-of-a-kind stable that provides therapeutic horseback riding opportunities specifically designed for individuals with disabilities. Participants will have three rotations during the program: 20 minutes of riding, groundwork, and social time.
ɢ NSSRA will send a waiver before the program, and you must return it to the NSSRA office by Friday, January 2. ɢ

Goals:
As a safety precaution for all, participants over 250 pounds will do groundwork with horses instead of riding.
Participants must be able to wear an equestrian helmet and gait belt to partake in riding. Participants with physical and medical conditions, please use caution.
Refunds for Horseback Riding are not available after the registration deadline.
