Russell Grant ’ 99 and his wife Lindsay welcomed their first child , a boy , Frederic Stuart Albert Grant , in July 2022 .
Greg Hammond ’ 00 and his wife Taylor are expecting their second son in May 2023 .
In November 2021 , Henry Nymark ’ 00 , his wife Lizzy , their son Charlie and their dog Hank Jr . moved to New York City after 13 years in Boston . In November 2022 , they welcomed their second child , Emily . They live on the Upper East Side , just a short walk from Saint David ’ s . Henry would be happy to connect with any alumni .
Caroline Hollingsworth Baker and Will Smith ’ 00 were married in April 2022 in Boston , MA . Guy Smith ’ 96 was Best Man .
Youssif Kamal ’ 78 voices the title role in the animated sequel to the Night At The Museum movie franchise Night At The Museum : Kahmunrah Rises Again on Disney +. Youssif lives in Los Angeles and has worked in all areas of the entertainment industry as a performer there and in New York as well . He was last seen on Broadway in the 2018 Tony winning musical The Band ’ s Visit .
Charles Russell ’ 78 is in a two-year Master Program at NYU Silver School of Social Work .
Bill Berrien ’ 82 received a Notable Veteran Executive recognition . Berrien served on active duty as a U . S . Navy SEAL team officer and platoon commander from 1991 to 1999 .
Brad Schenkel ’ 88 writes , “ I recently joined Sun Pharmaceutical Industries , Inc . where I ’ m the head of the Health Economics and Outcomes Research ( HEOR ) team . The company is based in Princeton , NJ . At Sun Pharma , I manage all of the HEOR research projects across our portfolio of compounds , including Winlevi for patients with acne vulgaris patients , Ilumya for moderate to severe psoriasis patients , and a host of other therapies in additional therapeutic areas . The work tends to be focused on three primary areas , including , 1 ) conducting analyses of real-world data to help establish the value of our therapies , 2 ) developing health economic models which describe the relative cost-effectiveness of our medicines vs . other healthcare interventions , and 3 ) measuring the patient-reported outcomes associated with our therapies . I have over 21 years of experience now in the pharmaceutical industry leading work in such areas as health economics , market access , integrated evidence generation , and more .”
Patrick Mullin ’ 08 got engaged to Nicole Altamirano in July 2022 . The happy couple met in college at Vanderbilt . Christopher Russo ’ 11 is a current PhD candidate at the University of Chicago . He also works with Warrior-Scholar Project where he developed materials for and instructs a Python bootcamp for military veterans entering four-year universities . On his lab website he writes , “ Despite extensive theoretical and experimental work on processes of somatic B cell receptor diversification and evolution , the germline evolution of the library of alleles that recombine to form the naive repertoire is largely unexplored . In my work , I am focused on understanding whether and in what contexts we expect adaptive evolution of biases in the naive repertoire in antigenic shape space to target specific antigens , and how the selective pressure for such biases would manifest in the evolution of the immunoglobulin alleles , which do not directly encode receptors .
In my spare time , I enjoy cooking , reading , especially about history and architecture , and exploring Chicago ’ s many beautiful neighborhoods and parks .”
