Friendly competition by way of the iconic Odds vs . Evens match ups in soccer and basketball were in full force this Thanksgiving . All had a terrific time !
June Rose Nigro Alfieri ( R . I . P .)
June Rose Nigro Alfieri , one of Saint David ’ s original faculty members , passed away on Thursday , September 1 , 2022 , at the age of 94 . June is survived by her sons John Alfieri ’ 71 , Anthony Alfieri ’ 73 ( Ellen ), and Michael Alfieri ’ 75 ( RoseMarie ), and three grandchildren . June taught Pre-K ( then nursery ) in the school ’ s early days . Dedicated to Saint David ’ s throughout her life , she served as President of the Parents Association and was an active member of the Alumni Parents Council for several years . June is pictured leading the school ’ s 60th Anniversary procession in 2011 .
