Note : The Spring Dance Recital will be on Sa . May , 10 , 2025 at Glenbrook South High School . A costume fee has been included in the registration for all youth classes except Ms . Rio ' s Ballet , Irish Dance , and Bollywood .

This class combines the technique of a Ballet Star class with the energy of Hip Hop Kidz ! Using games and music , the class focuses on rhythm , musicality and basic footwork , as well as ballet basics and terminology .

Ballet is the foundation of all dance forms . This class will develop rhythm , posture , flexibility , balance , selfdiscipline , and confidence .

This class will be used to teach the body mechanics and creative decision making used in Hip Hop dance . Students will learn not only how to dance , but will also practice coordination , strength , flexibility , and rhythm . All skills that are essential to a young dancer to learn in a safe and supportive manner .
