Stroke School
Designed for swimmers looking to refine and perfect technique for all four strokes while building endurance . Swimmers will be evaluated on their first day to determine which level they should be placed in . Swim Instructors will fine tune and push swimmers to build endurance and perfect the skills of freestyle , backstroke , butterfly and breaststroke . For students who have passed the Level 3 stage of Starfish Swim School ® Youth or equivalent . Staff will evaluate and place at an appropriate level on the first day of class .

Junior Lifeguard
Junior Lifeguard Program to offer an introduction to basic aquatic lifesaving ! Participants receive training in CPR and first aid , preparing them to be future lifeguards . Opportunities for hands-on experience include interviews and shadowing Glenview Park District lifeguards . This program provides guidance , challenges and activities to participants between 10 to 15 of age who are interested in furthering their experience in lifeguarding . If you are 15 years old , you may apply to be a lifeguard with the Glenview Park District .
