We welcome Laura Price as the new Board Treasurer in November . Laura Price is the Chief Financial Officer at Integrated Marketing Solutions in Morton Grove , where she provides financial , talent and operational insight and perspective to the Chief Executive Officer and leadership team . She also oversees a comprehensive audit program and directs all contract negotiations alongside counsel . Laura is a Certified Public Accountant . She and her family are longtime users of the Park District facilities .
Congratulations to all the winners of the Illinois Association of Park District ’ s Best of the Best Awards , which included Glenview Bank & Trust for Best Friend of the Parks in the small business category and Martha Demko as Outstanding Citizen Volunteer of the Year .
Glenview Bank & Trust is a valued Park Partner , enhancing many of the Park District ’ s signature events and supporting the LINK and Leisureship programs , increasing access to programs and events for community members .
Martha Demko is a treasured member of the East Wing Senior Center who turned 100 years old this year . She has dedicated her time to making teddy bears to give to children at local hospitals . Demko and a team of East Wing volunteers delivered 636 bears to Glenbrook and Skokie hospitals and Round Lake Beach Police Department in January 2020 . The Park District anticipates that number will be exceeded in 2022 .

• Glenview Park Foundation Since its inception in 1996 the Glenview Park Foundation has raised more than $ 2.3 million through private and public donations and fundraising events .
• Grove Heritage Association The Grove Heritage Association is a grassroots organization focused on developing the ecological , historical and educational values of The Grove and continuing to preserve its National Historic Landmark status .
• Friends of Wagner Farm The Friends of Wagner Farm provides stewardship and fundraising support to Historic Wagner Farm to expand programming , create educational experiences and enhance the farm property .
