The Grove is a unique outdoor history and nature museum that welcomes close to 200,000 visitors and nearly 1,000 school groups year round . It ’ s become a family destination for many – walking along the trails , seeing the historic buildings and looking inside the Interpretive Center .

THE INTERPRETIVE CENTER

Open Monday-Friday 8 am-4 pm Saturdays and Sundays open from 9 am-5 pm
Grounds and Walking Trails open from dawn until dusk daily . No dogs allowed .

Photo Permits

Due to the historic nature of The Grove buildings and ecological significance of its natural areas , the Glenview Park District has adopted a specific policy governing still and video photography at The Grove . In some cases , permits are required and fees must be paid . For detailed information on these guidelines , click here .
