7th Annual JCCF Charity Family Fun Bowl

On Saturday , August 18 , a crowd gathered at Winter Garden Bowl to take part in the Seventh Annual JCCF Family Fun Bowl . This familyfriendly , fun annual event returned to the WG area this year after being held in the Apopka area for several years .
In addition to fun team prizes , there were great raffle and silent auction , and the lovely Nancy Barber was there pushing those 50 / 50 tickets she does so well – but hey , she raised $ 500 for to split for that grand prize alone ! Thank you Nancy !
Everyone was having a ball as they bowled “ midnight-bowling ” style to the tunes playing on the speakers . One notable event was when Steve Stanford somehow ended up winning not one , but two pairs of tickets to Universal Orlando – one set from the raffle and the other from the silent auction . He ’ ll be signing up guest offers beginning this month . ; - ) [ Kidding , Steve ! congrats & enjoy !]
A very special thanks to Sue and Fred Crabtree , Andy , Karen , and the entire Crabtree Family for continiuing to host such fun community events in support of an amazing cause . Since it ’ s inception , the Jimmy Crabtree Cancer Fund has distributed over $ 213,000 to local famililes in need who are battling cancer .
