11/3/2016 at 9 months old with Acute
Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) – Infant

Being affected by such a life altering
experience first gives you a sense of
complete devastation, you try picking up
the pieces of life that once was and begin to
construct a new puzzle with less pieces and
ones that don’t fit anymore. But the picture
that evolves has a brighter horizon, a new
direction and purpose far more beautiful
than the last! That is Childhood Cancer!
Each fighter’s story resonates so deep, and
even if you personally don’t know them you
are personally affected by them.
Once you live this life and know that
this can happen to your child you want
everyone to know how prevalent it really
is. The statistics are alarming on newly
diagnosed children, the angels who lost
their fight and severe lack in funding for
research and new medicines. Awareness
is key! Our family didn’t know Cancer so
personally almost two years ago but today
because we do we will continue spreading
awareness and fighting for change.
