later - It’s Time to Get Crooked! The
Official Bottle Release will take place at
11am. Get there early, as the number of
bottles released are limited.

Selling Sunshine Event

Winter Garden Heritage, 21 E. Plant St.
The currently running exhibit, “Selling
Sunshine,” tells the story of how Florida’s
citrus industry came up with ingenious
ways to promote its products, begin-
ning in the 1880s. On 9/14, attend this
presentation by citrus-industry historian
Brenda Eubanks Burnette & the reigning
Miss Florida Citrus. The event includes
citrus desserts and cocktails.
Cost: $12 members; $15 non-members.

Join the Winter Garden American Le-
gion and the community for a 5K walk
and a day of camaraderie to raise aware-
ness for PTSD & Suicide in Veterans. The
day will include a hike, raffles, lunch and
more. Walk the full 5K or stop after the
first leg as the route will pass back by the
Post after the first 1/2 mile. Registration
begins at 7:30, hike will step off around
9:00, and then lunch at 12:00 with activi-
