A New Home:
Matthew's Hope
A
fter years of planning and
countless hours of hard work,
Matthew’s Hope has opened the doors
at their new Forever Home, located at
611 Business Park Blvd., Suite 101 in
Winter Garden. This new 6,750 square
foot facility, located off Story Road
just across from the Orange Technical
College – Westside Campus, combines
their Administrative Offices, Nurses
& Social Workers Offices, the Garden
of Eatin’ Food Pantry, Clothing &
Hygiene Pantries, and the Hope Chest
Workshop and Warehouses into one
spacious and beautiful location.
The new location is also along
one of the few Lynx bus routes in
West Orange County, which will
help Matthew’s Hope serve more
people as they become even more
accessible. Currently, the Matthew’s
Hope mini-bus brings people in
from various locations around
West Orange county to participate
in Tuesday Outreach Ministries.

Outreach Ministries help guests
of Matthew’s Hope to sign up for
services such as getting medical
help or a haircut, laundering their
clothes and shopping in the pantry.
There is a nurse and a social worker
on staff, as well as regular visits
from a Veterans Administration
representative, a nutritionist and a
mental health worker. Currently held
each Tuesday, with their new space
and better accessibility, it’s possible a
second day of services may be added.
Matthew’s Hope Chest Workshop, the
primary work opportunity for guests
of the ministry and one which helps to
develop woodworking skills, now has
ample space to store their creations
along with an amazing workshop.
The nicely sized work area allows
for multiple ongoing projects and
