Arts (CFCArts), a leading arts
nonprofit, is excited to announce
the expansion of the Musical Minds
Choir into Winter Garden.
Central Florida Community Arts has
partnered with Winter Garden Art
Association to be the location for
weekly rehearsals for participants and
their care partners. Research findings
suggest that being part of making
music such as singing or playing an
instrument, or simply listening to
music can be a great way to stimulate
the brain and help promote brain
health.
The Musical Minds Choir is offered
for adults experiencing the early
stages of memory loss, dementia or
Alzheimer’s disease. Led by Kevin
Harris, Musical Minds Choir has held
weekly rehearsals at One Senior Place
in Altamonte Springs, and now there Since launching Musical Minds Choir

Winter Garden rehearsals began
September 10th and take place on
Mondays from 10:30-11:30am at
Winter Garden Art Association,
located at 127 S. Boyd Street in Winter
Garden. Orlando-area rehearsals
began September 12th and take place
Wednesdays from 10-11am at One
Senior Place, located at 715 Douglas
Avenue, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714.
