since a gunman entered Orlando’s Pulse
gay nightclub shortly after 2am, taking
forty-nine lives, injuring fifty-three others,
and rocking the City of Orlando to its
core. The City of Orlando and Orange
County Government, in collaboration
with Pulse, have jointly designated June
12, 2017, "Orlando United Day - A Day
of Love and Kindness" to honor the
memory of the victims, support survivors
and recognize the compassion and love
that was displayed by the Central Florida
community following the tragedy.
