My relationship with Justin could be summed up
as a real life fairy tale. Not only did we meet at the
most magical place on earth--Disney World, but
we met working very closely with Ariel and Prince
Eric in the Voyage of the Little Mermaid show. If
love at first sight is a thing, that is what we experienced. From the first time we saw each other and
both doing a double-take, to blushing and giggling
in conversation, our first encounter was nothing
short of magical. That evening, I went out to dinner
with my best friend and said, “I met my husband
today”. The months that followed consisted of
Justin pursuing my heart in the most romantic
ways. We talked for hours at Starbucks in
Magic Kingdom, we rode a speedboat around
Lake Buena Vista, he took me on picnics and
planned scavenger hunts, and he stopped
at nothing to give me the most incredible
proposal in a hot air balloon. Exactly one
year after we met, we got married outside
a barn on the most beautiful fall day. It was
important to us to put our personalities into
our wedding, so we made “unity chocolate
milk” instead of using unity candles or
sand, we did a choreographed first dance
to a Little Mermaid medley, and we

represented our sweet tooths well by
offering a buffet of 14 different desserts, all themed after our favorite
Disney characters. Our wedding day was only
three months ago, and our marriage has been
filled with nothing but dreams, magic, and
happily ever after. :)
My relationship with Justin was bound to be
filled with magic from our first encounter. As
cast members at Disney World, Justin and I
met backstage at a show we both perform
in. In the show, we perform as love interests, so it’s always a good gesture to meet
each other before the show starts. The
