On the more “business” side, IAAPA
announced the relocation of their
global headquarters to Orlando from
Alexandria, Virginia next year, and to
extend its agreement to hold the annual
global conference and trade show in
Orlando through 2030. The economic
impact of this overall agreement will
exceed $1 billion for the Orlando-area
economy. Additionally, The IAAPA
Foundation announced its support of
UCF’s Attractions Management Track
at the Rosen College of Hospitality
Management with the funding of three
scholarships. The first three student
recipients, announced at the November
show, are Bridget Frost, Matthew
Temmer, and Ashley Kaczor.
