She was a bit apprehensive at first, but as she expressed her concerns the passion behind her words started to build a story in my mind. Build? I thought to myself. No. A much better choice of words would be burn, sear. The impact of her words, the look in her eyes. The pain in her expression. It was burning. Too much for me to write alone. End the controversy before it ensues. But, as you will see, I did not heed the warning of the non-combatant within me. I gave in to the burn. Understanding from the onset that I am just an outlet for the story that has to be told, I set out to find those with the knowledge, the passion and the facts about the subject. All contacted were very vocal about their opinions, their feelings, their facts. Promises of open minds were plenty. In the end very few showed up. As with all things that provide a challenge, I am looking to you for the final word, the end of the story. I bring you food for thought.
