Spring is in the Air
While most of us will begin our annual house
cleaning in hopes of removing accumulated
clutter, some of us will take a different
approach. Instead of trashing our unwanted
knick-knacks and furniture, try finding
ways to incorporate old items with new flair.
Refurbishing existing items allows you to create
a completely new feel in and around your home
with out spending too much money.
When spring’s first warm breezes inspire you to
embrace the new season, use these decorating
ideas to freshen up your home.

Green, lush gardens overflowing with flowers
will always add appeal to any home, but when
running short on space, container gardens can
do the trick as well. Gardening in containers is
ideal for those with little or no garden space.
In addition to growing flowers, those with
limited space or no garden space at all can use
containers to grow a large range of flowers and
herbs that are quite happy growing in pots.
Container gardens lend instant color, a focal
point and can even be used to tie in the
Architectural features of your home. You
can place them on a windowsill, hang them
from your porch, place them on a pedestal or
even the ground. Window boxes and hanging
baskets will add more ways to give your home
instant appeal. Even single containers on a
deck or patio can add color and ambiance to
your outdoor sitting area. Placing two by your
front door or walkway will create a welcoming
entry for you and your guests. Arranging pots,
both large and small, can create interest and
excitement on stairways,
