Feher Anato, ASID If a Spring is in the Air While most of us will begin our annual house cleaning in hopes of removing accumulated clutter, some of us will take a different approach. Instead of trashing our unwanted knick-knacks and furniture, try finding ways to incorporate old items with new flair. Refurbishing existing items allows you to create a completely new feel in and around your home with out spending too much money. Gardening in containers is ideal for those with little or no garden space. In addition to growing flowers, those with limited space or no garden space at all can use containers to grow a large range of flowers and herbs that are quite happy growing in pots. Container gardens lend instant color, a focal point and can even be used to tie in the Architectural features of your home. You can place them on a windowsill, hang them from your porch, place them on a pedestal or even the ground. Window boxes and hanging baskets will add more ways to give your home instant appeal. Even single containers on a deck or patio can add color and ambiance to your outdoor sitting area. Placing two by your front door or walkway will create a welcoming entry for you and your guests. Arranging pots, both large and small, can create interest and excitement on stairways,
