Salvete, omnes and Χαίρετε, πάντες Welcome to the MMXXVI winter addition of the Forum. My names is Cricket Lammers and I am ecstatic to be your Editor. A few years ago I joined Latin as a freshman who had no idea what they were about to get in to. When state convention rolled around and my teacher told me about it, I thought it would be fun so I decided to go and I had a blast. later in the year my teacher told us about national convention, and I thought that because I had so much fun at states that a national version would only be better, and I was right. the next year I was a sophomore and I wrote the first addition of the Aquilifer( my local publication) and it was the best way I could have chosen to start tenth grade. Since then I have become my Latin clubs editor, an editor of my schools yearbook and vice president of my schools magazine and now VJCL Editor, and I have loved every step of the way. I cant wait for you all to see what is inside this addition of the Forum. I hope you all enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed making it, so without further ado, the MMXXVI winter Forum.
