procession originates from Hotel Shikhar and culminates at the Nakki Lake Chowk
in the evening. On Nakki Lake hundreds of earthen lamps are set afloat in the
water as a form of reverence. This ritual is called Deepdaan. This mesmerising site
forms a visual treat &photographer’s delight.
During the three days of celebration, the spectacular fireworks in the evenings
astonish the crowd with its magnificence in the background of the serene lake.

Winter Festival is celebrated during the last week of December. Winter festival
2019 is scheduled from 29 th December to 31 st December 2019.
