To cherish peace and goodwill , to be plenteous in mercy , is to have the real spirit of Christmas .” Indeed , the Christmas spirit came to us effortlessly as children , enhanced only by our parent ’ s support in writing letters to Santa . But now , as adults , we should endeavour to create a Christmas spirit . With markets taking place in fantastic locations all over The Netherlands , it ’ s no wonder they are becoming increasingly popular year after year . Unfortunately , Christmas markets will not take place in 2020 , due to the Covid-19 pandemic , yet it should not deter us from relishing in the Christmas spirit . If the season of goodwill is emotional at the best of times , the prospect of a Covid Christmas brings with it a whole new wave of feelings . Never in the history of Noël has the Christmas markets of the occasion been cancelled , but with a riot of emotions playing into the picture , I want to remind you that you can make a bucket list with all the Christmas market which you want to visit .
