KIDNASTICS

JUNIOR GYMNASTICS
Age-appropriate maneuvers for bar, floor, low balance beam

RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS
COACHING STAFF
Dani Takova, Director
Formerly a National Team Coach, Dani has 25 plus years
of experience within this sport. Dani’s strength is in devel-
oping talent in younger team members as well as being
an integral part of the training process of the competitive
gymnasts.
Natalia Klimouk, Director
Natalia was a former coach of the Belarus National Team
and has 20 plus years of experience coaching at all levels
of the sport. She currently serves as the Rhythmic Elite
International Chair.
NORTH SHORE RHYTHMICS
Since 2006, NSR has been training both elite level athletes
as well as recreational gymnasts here at the Glenview
Park District and has become a national training desti-
nation for rhythmic gymnasts. The coaching staff have
trained USA Senior National Champion Lisa Wang, 3-time
USA Junior National Champion Marlee Shape, the USA
Group National Team and many other past National Team
and World Championship team members. NSR directors
aspire to have each and every gymnast achieve her full
potential as an athlete, whether she becomes a national
champion, a member of group team, or competing at any
level throughout her career. Being involved in this sport
fosters confidence, athleticism and perseverance. NSR is
a member of USA Gymnastics.
BEGINNING TUMBLING
Start out learning the proper way to perform rolls, handstands
and cartwheels. This class is a great introduction to tumbling
and it’s the door to gymnastics possibilities. Participants will
be placed into a 7-8 year old group or 9-11 year old group.
