STARFISH SWIM SCHOOL® FOR YOUTH
Students in Starfish Swim School work toward developing the five core swimming competencies using age-appropriate learning
activities. Learning is self-paced but challenging. Students work toward developing skills and progress toward achieving the
benchmarks in a small group setting. This class is for the beginning to intermediate swimmer.

IMPORTANT INFO FOR PARENTS/CAREGIVERS
Tightly fitted rubber pants or swim diapers, as well as a swim suit, are required for non-toilet trained children.
Evaluation within swim lessons is constant and ongoing and the Glenview Park District reserves the right to move your child to
different stages, if needed. Your child may not automatically advance to the next stage after one session. It often takes several ses-
sions before a child is ready to progress.

Register by January 12 for Early Bird Rates.
PRIVATE SWIM LESSONS
Looking for a more individualized approach? The Glenview Park District offers private swim lessons for participants 3 years to
adult. All swim instructors undergo regular training. All lessons are 30 minutes long, and available at varying days and times.
