Landings MEMBERSHIP TYPES AND FEES There are four ways to enjoy Splash Landings 1 USE YOUR PARK CENTER HEALTH AND FITNESS MEMBERSHIP All Park Center Health and Fitness memberships include the use of Splash Landings pool. (Limited Memberships are valid 10 am-4 pm only.) Memberships are good for unlimited use for one year from the date of purchase. For more information on purchasing a membership, see page 13. STARFISH SWIM SCHOOL® The Glenview Park District offers a variety of swim lessons for children ages 6 months through adults. We also offer private lessons for 3 year olds. ® WHICH SWIM CLASS IS RIGHT FOR ME? Early childhood and youth lessons follow the Starfish Swim/ Stroke School, a nationally recognized swim instruction curriculum developed by the Starfish Aquatics Institute. Benchmarks are established at each stage in the program to teach swimming and safety skills. Register your child for the program that corresponds with his or her age. Startots™ – 6 months-3 years + adult Starfish Swim School® for Preschoolers – 3-5 years Starfish Swim School® for Youth – 6-12 years Stroke School® – for students ages 6-12 who have achieved the Green Starfish Swim School stage All participants will be tested the first day to determine what stage they should start in. Participants will advance to the next stage once they complete the benchmark skills; participants may advance through more than one stage in a single session.
