Low-impact class to challenge your aquatic exercise skills Ages : 18 +
This water aerobics class is great for adults looking for a fun , low-impact physical activity . During class you will perform various movements in 8-10 feet of water to improve joint flexibility , range of motion , and muscle strength . Aqua belts are provided and are required to participate .

Tabata Training with Amy

Join Amy on Wednesdays with options of a shallow or deep-water Tabata workout . Her Tabata workout consists of 30 minutes of interval training that is a total body cardio blast ! She will balance out this high energy workout with 15 minutes of mindful stretching designed to improve muscular flexibility and joint range of motion .

The American Red Cross Parent and Child Aquatics program is designed for children aged 6 months to approximately 3 years , along with their parents . This course aims to familiarize children with the water and teach essential swimming readiness skills .
Additionally , the program provides valuable safety information for parents and offers techniques to help orient their children to the water effectively .
Parent and Child Aquatics Level 1
Ages : 6 months – 3 years
Level 1 introduces essential skills for both parents and children . Parents will learn how to safely engage with their child in the water , including the proper techniques for supporting and holding them while fostering a positive experience . Children will be introduced to basic skills that serve as a foundation for learning to swim . Additionally , parents will gain insights into important water safety topics .

Parent and Child Aquatics Level 2
Ages : 1.5 years – 3 years Parent and Child Aquatics Level 2 builds on the skills introduced in Level 1 . Participants improve on these skills and learn more advanced skills in Level 2 . As with Level 1 , water safety topics are also included in this level . Parent & Child Level 1 is not a prerequisite for this course .

Preschool Aquatics Level 1
For first time young swimmers who are not yet comfortable in the water Ages : 3 – 5
Level 1 orients children to the aquatic environment and helps them gain basic aquatics skills . These skills include entering and exiting the water , blowing bubbles through mouth and nose , submerging , opening eyes underwater and retrieving submerged objects , front and back gliding , back floating , rolling from front to back and back to front , alternating and simultaneous arm and leg actions on front and back , combining arm and leg actions on front and back and ageappropriate water safety skills .
