To enter , all you have to do is save receipts that you get for any purchase in the City , or from a member of the Laguna Niguel Chamber . Take a picture of each receipt ( showing name of business , date , and amount ) and email them to

Laguna Niguel Citizens Academy
The Citizens ’ Academy is a 12-week informational series designed to give an inside , in-depth look at the daily operations of the Orange County Sheriff ’ s Department . The academy class meets once a week for a 3-hour period . The Academy includes interactive course instruction and field trips provided by a variety of Sheriff ’ s Department personnel who are experts in their respective fields .

Are you a senior citizen living alone ? Are you concerned about an elderly family member or friend who lives alone ?
The " You Are Not Alone " program is designed for Laguna Niguel residents to provide a measure of security and well-being for those who live alone . To participate in the program , you must be a resident of Laguna Niguel , be at least 65 years of age or older , or have a disability , and have a next-of-kin , care taker , or relative as a responsible party . This free program consists of checking on the welfare of those residents who have requested it .
The Y . A . N . A program does not administer medications or take the participant to the doctor ' s office , grocery store , or run errands .
