BOARD

Ingredients
• 1 wedge Brie( use heart-shaped if available)
• 4 oz cranberry Wensleydale cheese or Stilton with cranberries
• 3 oz aged Manchego or sharp white cheddar
• 3 oz pepper jack or goat cheese
• 3 oz prosciutto
• 3 oz salami( make“ salami roses” by folding slices into a rose shape)
• Breadsticks and crostini( try making heartshaped toasts with a cookie cutter)
• 1 / 2 cup honey
• 3 oz candied walnuts or Marcona almonds
• Raspberries and strawberries( include chocolate-dipped and fresh slices)
• Raspberry or strawberry macarons
• Red grapes or pomegranate seeds
• Foil-wrapped chocolates or heart-shaped candies
• Fresh edible flowers( mini carnations or rosebuds) for garnish
Optional Extras
• Whole grain mustard, fig jam, or berry preserves
• Sliced apples
• Crackers( assorted; neutral flavors preferred)
• Yogurt-covered pretzels or white chocolate pretzels
• Dried apricots, figs, or cherries
Assembly Instructions 1. Choose your serving board— a marble slab, wooden board, or large platter works well.
2. Place small bowls for honey, jams, or dip first. Scatter candied nuts and chocolates in small bowls or ramekins.
3. Position cheeses around the board, spacing them attractively. Use cookie cutters to slice cheeses( or crostini) into heart shapes for a holiday touch.
4. Fold prosciutto casually or roll salami into rose shapes; arrange these cured meats throughout the board.
5. Tuck breadsticks, crostini, and crackers in open spaces, fanning them for visual effect.
6. Fill gaps with berries, grapes, and macarons. Add chocolate-dipped strawberries and any other sweet treats for a pop of color and texture.
7. Sprinkle edible flowers and fresh herbs to garnish, adding romance and elegance.
8. Finish with fresh fruit slices, dried fruit, and pretzels. Arrange for balance and variety.
9. Serve immediately, letting guests mix sweet and savory bites as they celebrate.
