The Young Lawyers Section ( YLS ) continues to host social events across the state , providing great networking opportunities for young lawyers . All lawyers are encouraged to participate in these webinars to earn continuing legal education credits .

DANIELLE FOSTER
Danielle Foster is an attorney with Atlas Legal Services . She specializes in assisting companies transitioning into employee ownership . In addition to her work with Employee Stock Ownership Plans ( ESOPs ), she provides comprehensive legal and tax guidance for businesses . Foster has presented at several local and national ESOP conferences . Her clients are businesses of all sizes , across multiple industries and states . Foster also brings tax consultant experience from previous employment at Deloitte Tax LLP .
A native of Minot , she graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science in accounting from Minot State University and captained its NCAA women ’ s golf team . She went on to study law at the University of North Dakota ( UND ) School of Law . During her post-secondary education career , Foster served as a managing associate of the Dakota Venture Group , the country ’ s first student-run venture capital fund . During the 2019 North Dakota Legislative Session , she served as an extern to the North Dakota Legislative Council . She graduated with her juris doctor from the UND School of Law in 2019 .
Foster started the Medora Girls Golf and Leadership Camp in 2023 . The camp brought 100 girls from across the state to work on their golf and leadership skills and awarded college scholarships . Foster volunteers with Bio Girls Inc . and completed the North Dakota Women ’ s Business Center 2022 Leadership Program , taking first place in its case competition .
EMILY RAMAGE GELTEL
Emily Ramage Geltel is originally from Watford City and is a graduate of the University of North Dakota School of Law , class of 2019 . She began practicing law in Williston in 2019 and opened the doors to her own firm , Ramage Geltel Law Firm PLLC in 2022 . She currently practices in a variety of areas of law including family law , business law , landlord tenant law , and practices in juvenile court , among others .
She is an active community member and volunteers for many organizations , including the
Williston Community Builders . Over the past three years , she has been an integral part of the fundraising efforts for a $ 15 million pool slated to open in Williston in 2025 . Ramage Geltel was recognized for her volunteer work and was named to Williston ’ s “ Top 20 Under 40 ,” as well as a finalist for the “ Williston Community Engagement Award ” through the Williston Chamber of Commerce .
In her spare time , Ramage Geltel enjoys hiking , biking , camping , and canoeing with her husband , Allen Geltel . Their family owns and operates a family ranch in Grenora and spends a lot of time out on the family farm . Ramage Geltel and her husband welcomed their first child in January .
