Dr. Alicia Kershaw is an Assistant Professor of Reading/Literacy Education at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Missouri. She has been a literacy educator for more than 30 years. She spent twenty-nine years teaching in the K-12 public education setting in multiple roles including K-5 special education teacher, 7th grade special education teacher, 2nd-5th grade classroom teacher, reading specialist, and literacy coach. She also spent seventeen years working as an adjunct faculty member at three Missouri universities.
Dr. Beth Gregory has served as a champion for literacy for 20+ years. Currently she is an Assistant Professor of Reading/Literacy Education at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Missouri. This year she began her 13 th year in higher education teaching graduate and undergraduate courses. Prior to her time in higher education she taught Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade.
