The tool is integrated into the NOW Courier applicant tracking system . “ In addition to sourcing , it can generate AI-crafted job descriptions , learning from previous ones to reflect our style , thereby preserving our distinct brand identity .,” says Van Horn . “ The AI tool not only adjusts the tone of voice , varying from formal and friendly to more engaging styles to inspire enthusiasm and inspiration . It also effectively combats writer ’ s block . It assists by expanding our content or making it more concise as needed .”
The company ’ s AI-assisted applicant tracking system kicks in when a potential candidate reaches out through the NOW Courier website . “ We receive numerous inquiries through our website ,” Van Horn points out . “ People interested in joining NOW Courier can interact with an AI chatbot to get answers to common questions . Independent contractors usually seek information about the distance they need to drive , their potential compensation , the variety of deliveries they will handle , the prerequisites for becoming a part of the team , and in-depth information about the application process . Additionally , they have the option to pinpoint specific roles of interest through our AI-driven system . A notable feature is the availability to contact a member of our talent acquisition team at any time , all year round , via a dedicated phone line . This ‘ member ’ is actually an AI chatbot capable of engaging in conversations up to 40 minutes long . While we program the bot , its true brilliance lies in its ability to sustain conversations , even when topics deviate from the script .
