I have met a number of our youngest residents throughout the years . Many I have watched become charming and wonderful adults . A few are truly exceptional . Lindsey Giannini is one of the few .
I first met her grandfather , the late Vince Giannini , back in the late 1990s , then his son Chris , wife Debra and their children .
When she was crowned Miss New Jersey in 2015 , I cheered and sent her an immediate note of congratulations . She championed the anti-texting and driving campaign , dedicated her year to helping others and never forgot her hometown of Hammonton . Recently , she has lent a few special items to the Historical Society of Hammonton .

Diner culture is alive and well in Hammonton thanks to the Silver Coin Diner . But it begs the question : Is diner culture surviving in Hammonton because of how good our diner is or is our diner as successful as it is because of the dinerloving patrons ? Joseph F . I have always loved how our town ’ s blueberry farms look in winter . There is something always so starkly beautiful about the setting . Granted , I picked the coldest and windiest day in January for picture taking . Thankfully , the Hammonton branch of the Atlantic County Library was toasty warm and welcomed us .
While at the library , I renewed my card and I encourage you , dear reader , to do the same . There are plenty of books to borrow online and in-person along with many other digital options and in-library options . The free card is worth its weight in platinum .
