MATTHEW KOPP
Matthew Kopp is an associate attorney at Fredrikson & Byron , P . A . in Fargo . He concentrates his practice on business litigation in state and federal courts across North Dakota and Minnesota . Kopp grew up in Jamestown . He graduated summa cum laude with a degree in political science and economics from the University of North Dakota in 2016 , where he served as student body president . He then earned his juris doctor magna cum laude and was first in his class from the University of North Dakota ( UND ) School of Law in 2019 . During law school , Kopp served as editor-in-chief of the “ North Dakota Law Review ” and won the internal moot court competition .
Before joining Fredrikson , Kopp served as a law clerk for Judge Ralph R . Erickson on the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and Chief Judge Peter D . Welte on the United States District Court for the District of North Dakota . He lives in West Fargo with his wife and two sons , and enjoys spending time with family and friends , golfing , reading , and rooting for UND sports teams .

Andrew Younker is an associate attorney with SW & L Attorneys in Fargo . Younker is licensed to practice in both North Dakota and
Minnesota . He primarily practices family law , assisting families with divorce , custody , adoption , paternity , name changes / changes to birth records , and prenuptial agreements .
Younker earned his bachelor ' s in criminal justice with a minor in psychology from North Dakota State University . Before entering law school , he worked as a correctional officer at the North Dakota State Penitentiary . During this time , he applied to and was accepted to the University of North Dakota ( UND ) School of Law . He earned his juris doctor from the UND School of Law in May 2020 .
Younker states the most rewarding aspect of his job is protecting his clients ' rights , while helping them achieve realistic goals . He is constantly refining his methods to resolve issues in the most cost-effective and efficient manner possible for all parties involved . Younker is originally from Hazen . In his spare time , he enjoys spending time with his friends , family , and significant other , Ashley . Younker also devotes his free time to golfing , reading , hiking , weightlifting , and traveling .
