Cox is addressing these ambitious questions through 34 by 34 , our detailed vision to empower 34 million people to live more prosperous lives by 2034 . The goal ? Make a tangible , positive impact in people ’ s lives in six key areas : access to technology , good health , lifelong education and employment skills ; social equity ; and environmental stewardship .
Beginning in the first half of 2022 , as we emerge from one of the most difficult periods in our history , Cox is showcasing 34 by 34 with a nationwide mobile roadshow to motivate and inspire employees across the company . Think of it as a rolling festival to grow the good , one mile at a time .
Hitting the 34 by 34 goal will require building on the great work of the past , as well as finding innovations from everywhere in the company . Top-down solutions will only get us part of the way . The rest must come from our employees , who connect every day with our customers and communities .
“ We will not get to 34 million people if we don ’ t have the help of our employees — innovating , coming up with inspired ideas and helping us figure out how to scale solutions ,” said Maury Wolfe , assistant vice president for corporate responsibility and public affairs at Cox Enterprises .
“ We hope this provides an opportunity for all employees — regardless of where they sit or their role — to learn how they can participate in 34 by 34 ,” said Maury . “ We want them to understand the goal , but we also want them to know how they can participate .”

What to Expect
Each stop on the nationwide tour will feature the unique culture and flavor of the host region . Cox ’ s traveling Airstream trailer will be capturing stories of impact for a time capsule experience website , and attendees can enjoy a half-day festival with information about 34 by 34 , food , music , nonprofit booths and more .
“ We are really excited to partner with our local teams as they profile the community partners they know and love , along with the Employee Resource Groups ( ERGs ), as they create special moments to highlight the heritage months ,” said Maury .
