Class Name Tot to Kindergarten Classes
Age
Itsy Bitsy Tumblers Adult / Tot 1½-2 Actively engage with your child as they develop large motor skills , receive an intro to gym and equipment , and develop spatial awareness in an obstacle course format .
Tumble Tots Adult / Tot 2 - 3 Participate and make memories with your child . We they develop large motor skills and basic gymnastics skills using equipment in an obstacle course format .
Little Pros 3-4 An independent learning opportunity for young gymnast to build self-confidence , strength , coordination , balance , and flexibility . Focuses on enhancing basic body movement , tumbling skills , and using equipment . Children must be potty trained .
Super Stars 4-5 Swing , roll , and build a proper handstand in an obstacle course-based class .
Kindergym
Kindergarten Build a strong foundation on the beam , bars , floor , and vault by piecing skills together with proper form and technique . Enjoy swinging , rolling , and cartwheeling in this adventurous gymnastics class .
Recreational Gymnastics
Beginner 1 Grades 1-8 Beginner level for school age kids . Learn basic gymnastics skills through proper progressions and drills on each Olympic event : Vault , Bars , Beam , and Floor .
Beginner 2 * Grades 1-8 Gymnasts continue to perfect basic skills like handstands , backward rolls , cartwheels and pull-overs , with an increase in difficulty and focus on proper form and technique .* Prerequisite : Beginner 1
Advanced Beginner * Grades 1-8 We continue to build on the foundation of the skills mastered in Beginner 1 and 2 . This level focuses on progressively harder skills like round offs , walk overs , back hip circles , full handstands and leaps on beam , splits , flexibility , and strength conditioning .* Prerequisites : Beginner 1 & 2 .
Intermediate * Grades 1-8 Continue to build on the skills learned in previous classes . This class is geared towards higher level gymnasts . Strength and conditioning is incorporated into every practice .* Prerequisites : Advanced Beginner .

Little Gymnasts Program 3-5 Drop your gymnast off twice a week for a Pre-K program built on exploration of gymnastics movement and play . Gymnastics builds on foundational skills like lunges , teeter-totter ' s , handstands , pike swinging , muscle swinging , rope climbing , walking on tippy toes , and more . Our play focuses on friendship building question and listening games , storytelling plus silly art projects while learning to wait in line . Morning class please bring a nut-free lunch and water bottle . Afternoon class please bring a nut-free snack and water bottle . Must be potty trained .
Pre-Team and Competitive Team | Pre-Team and Competitive Team programs are invitation only and must be approved by the Gymnastics Coordinator or Recreation Supervisor . Please contact Carol Sassorossi at 847-579-4103 for more Information
Pre-Team 6-13 Designed specifically for gymnasts who show potential for a competitive gymnastics future . This is a preparation class for future team placement . Focus is on developing skills , proper form , technique , increasing strength and flexibility . Pre-Team placement is determined by a competitive team coach or gymnastics coordinator .
Competitive Team 6-13 Our school-year-long competitive gymnastics programs competes in the AAU / GIJO leagues . Team placement is by invitation-only , comprised of gymnasts who are looking to advance their skills in a competitive arena . Competitive Team gymnasts are required to practice a minimum of twice per week .
