Diving Lessons : Diving lessons for beginning divers ages 5-15 years include instruction on conditioning , flexibility , body control , forward and backward approaches , water entries and basic dives . Prospective Crown Valley Diving Team athletes will work on required competition dives . Crown Valley Diving Team Novice team practices twice a week . Junior Olympic team practices are two , three , or four times per week . Tryouts for the Crown Valley Novice Diving Team or the U . S . Dolphin Aquatics ' mission is to nurture the values of self-discipline , commitment , self-reliance , and responsibility . The team provides instruction in the four competitive strokes , starts , turns , and finishes . Dolphin Aquatics is a member of the United States Swimming Association , Southern California Swimming Association , and Orange County Swim Conference . Dolphin Aquatics Swim Team It is the goal of the Dolphin Aquatics to offer age specific training for all of our athletes geared towards challenging and developing each individual to the best of their abilities . All of our coaches , as members of United States Swimming , have access to the most comprehensive training and certification program for youth coaches of any sport in the United States .
