LITTFIN LUMBER started in 1962 and was locally owned by Jack Littfin and his family until Sept . 30 , 2020 . Littfin joined the All-Fab Group located in Winnipeg , Canada Oct . 1 , 2020 . The All- Fab Group understands Littfin ’ s business because it has been in business for more than 50 years and has seven component plants . It also shares the same company core values as Littfin . In addition , the All-Fab Group has been selling into the upper Midwest for many years and has chosen Littfin as its foundation for future US growth .
Littfin designs and manufactures wood roofs , floor trusses , and finger-jointed treated columns for agricultural and commercial pole frame structures in the upper Midwest .
Typically , the product is delivered using its fleet of trucks , which total about 1 million miles yearly . Littfin ’ s corporate headquarters is in Winsted , and its manufacturing operation is located near Howard Lake . Employing 250 people , Littfin Lumber is one of Winsted ’ s largest employers .

MILLERBERND MANUFACTURING A prominent institution of the Winsted community for more than 85 years , Millerbernd manufactures tapered steel poles for street lighting , traffic signal , high mast and decorative lighting . They also build custom flashwelded circular steel products , such as rings and cylinders often used for large-scale electric motor and generator housings , and steel cans used for airfield ground lighting .
Their main location on the west side of town produced and hosts one of Winsted ’ s distinguishing features : a 208-foot high , lighted pole that flies a 30x50 foot American flag on national holidays and special occasions .
