No economy in the world is cashless 100 %, not even the countries with the highest literacy. There are villages where there is not even a bank. This move would win the rural and informal economy a great deal and putting them into huge risk and sufferings. No, India cannot become a cashless vast no of Indians do not have access to potable water, electricity internet and smart phones.

I for India to go cashless at present scenario. The main reasons are: Rural background, Illiteracy, Banking system, Knowledge of swiping. Science has proved to be more a curse than a blessing. When we use technology in a proper way we shall see growth. If not we shall surely see curse of technology. As listed above most of the Indians are not aware of present hi-techs. Then, how can India go cashless?
