Legacy Crossing and Thanksgiving Point locations, more than 14,500 fans of the hit show gathered( some in costume) to watch the final episode of the series on the big screen.
January 13 – Matt Keenan, SVP of Mergers & Acquisitions at the LHM Company, participated in a Utah Business roundtable with other M & A professionals. Matt shared an update on his focus on investing in the various LHM platforms and businesses, and he and other participants shared their positive outlook for the year ahead.
January 13 – As part of America 250, the Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation sponsored The Pen is Mightier: Writing a Revolution, a new museum exhibit that explores how the power of word and the writing of the Declaration of Independence helped launch the nation. The exhibit is on display on the fourth floor of the Utah State Capitol building and will run through December 2026.
January 17 – Megaplex hosted another hit MegaMarathon, this time bringing moviegoers back into the world of The Hunger Games with the“ Return to Panem” series.
January 19 – Megaplex turned National Popcorn Day into National Popcorn Week. From January 19-26, all MegaRewards and MegaPass holders received a free large popcorn.
February 4 – Nicole Robison, founder of Swig, was featured in an article from The Wall Street Journal discussing the rise of dirty soda from one location in St. George, Utah, to hundreds across the United States.
The story chronicled the early days of Swig, lessons Nicole learned during
Swig’ s initial growth and offered insights into what’ s coming next for the beloved brand.
February 4 – In celebration of National Girls and Women in Sports Day, the women from Miller Sports + Entertainment, the Utah Royals, Real Salt Lake and the Salt Lake Bees gathered for a discussion led by MSE President Michelle Smith and Utah Royals Sporting Director Kelly Cousins about their career paths and the power of female leadership in the sports world.
Jason and Courtney Hawks represented the Miller Family Foundation at the unveiling.
February 7 – The University of Utah unveiled its new iconic Robert Indiana LOVE statue, a vibrant addition to campus that celebrates connection and community. The Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation helped contribute to the fund that brought the statue here from its original New York City home.
February 8 – The pre-spring issue of Lifestyles Magazine featured a profile on Miller Family Foundation Executive Director Don Stirling, highlighting his leadership and approach to meaningful philanthropy.
The profile explores Don’ s work shaping impactful initiatives such as the Gail Miller Utah Impact Fund, Season of Service and other collaborative efforts focused on strengthening communities across Utah. When asked what advice he would offer to those looking to make a meaningful impact through philanthropy, Don shared,“ Begin where you are, keep showing up, keep grinding, be teachable, be brave and have fun. Always believe that you can change the world.”
February 11 – The South Valley Chamber presented the Larry H. Miller Company with its President’ s Award, which recognizes years of support for the Chamber’ s programs and initiatives. John Kimball, president of Real Salt Lake and the Utah Royals FC, accepted the award at this year’ s State of the Chamber event.
The South Valley Chamber supports businesses and works to create a thriving economic hub across seven of Utah’ s fastest-growing cities, and the LHM Company is proud to collaborate in these community efforts.
