Announcements July 6, 2018: The Utah Jazz announced that Tyler Dorsey and John Collins of Atlanta; Georges Niang and Tony Bradley of Utah; Kobi Simmons and Jaren Jackson Jr. of Memphis; and Derrick White and Jeff Ledbetter of San Antonio had received Utah Jazz Summer League Standout honors. July 23, 2018: Andrew Cowart was named general manager at Larry H. Miller Downtown Honda Spokane. July 23, 2018: Sean Kendrick was named general manager of Larry H. Miller Ford Lakewood. July 23, 2018: Rich Smith was named general manager at Larry H. Miller Nissan San Bernardino. July 30, 2018: The Utah Jazz announced Fotis Katsikaris as an assistant coach. The first-ever native Greek NBA assistant coach, Katsikaris joins the Jazz from Iberostar Tenerife of the Liga ACB in Spain. He served as head coach of the Greek National Team from 2014–16. August 7, 2018: The NBA announced that the Utah Jazz had been selected to participate in the NBA Mexico City Games 2018. The Jazz will play the Orlando Magic on December 15 in Mexico City, marking the third-straight season that NBA teams have played at the Arena Ciudad de Mexico. August 9, 2018: The Utah Jazz kicked off the summer’s annual Junior Jazz road trip, marking the 34th consecutive year for the clinics. David Stockton conducted clinics for the second week, and Georges Niang handled the final leg. Sixteen clinics were conducted in Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming. Aug. 12, 2018: Young American Sepp Kuss of Team LottoNL-Jumbo successfully fended off all challengers to win both the final stage and overall title at the 2018 Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah. Aug. 13, 2018: The Salt Lake Bees and the Los Angeles Angels announced a two-year extension of their player development contract, which started in 2001. The contract will cover the 2021–2022 seasons. August 17, 2018: Brian Sweeney was named general manager of Larry H. Miller Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Albuquerque. August 17, 2018: Michael Valentine was named general manager of Larry H. Miller Hyundai Albuquerque. August 17, 2018: John Mathieson has rejoined Larry H. Miller Dealerships as regional variable operations specialist for Colorado and New Mexico. August 17, 2018: Michael “Matt” Seamark joined Larry H. Miller Toyota Lemon Grove as general manager. August 21, 2018: Mercedes-Benz of Draper and Larry H. Miller Dodge Ram Avondale were named Best Dealerships to Work For by Automotive News. August 30–September 3, 2018: The LHM 1000 tent sale was successful with 783 Utah sales, 155 Idaho sales, and 96 Washington sales.
