A Prestigious Beginning
Salt Lake City, Utah, 1994
T
wenty-three years ago, the Larry H.
Miller Group of Companies welcomed
a new member of the family. On
September 13, 1994, Prestige Financial
Services was formed. The idea was to
create a high-risk lender for people with
credit problems who had purchased an
automobile from the Group. By working
directly with these individuals, it was
possible to help them restore their credit
and get them back on their feet.
First headquartered in Sandy, Utah,
Prestige only had six employees, but a year
later, they increased that number to 17. In
the business world, that kind of growth is
remarkable and showed the promise of the
idea. Today, Prestige Financial Services is
one of the top employers in Utah and looks
forward to years of continued growth and
success. ◆

n August 10, Larry H. Miller Toyota Peoria employees presented a $10,000 donation to
Ryan House. The organization provides therapeutic, palliative, respite, and end-of-life care
for families whose children have terminal illnesses. In addition to the generous donation,
dealership employees further helped the organization with a patio renovation project and
planted flowers outside each of the family suites.
