WOMEN'S LEADERSHIP GROUP
FEATURES KEY LHM EMPLOYEES
Recently, key business and community leaders in Utah
launched the Women’s Leadership Institute (wliut.com)
and asked forward-thinking companies throughout the
state to take the ElevateHER Challenge. By taking the
challenge, a company agrees to look at culture, structure
and policies and to create ways to encourage women’s
leadership within an organization.
Gail Miller signed the pledge on behalf of the LHM Group
and also asked members of her senior leadership team to
develop and support an internal effort to create our own
women’s program. The Gail Miller Women’s Leadership
Group is in the development stages and plans to focus
on networking, mentoring, and providing our female
employees with opportunities to further develop their
leadership skills and hear from guest speakers relating to
leadership and career development.
The president of each LHM enterprise nominated a liaison
from their area to participate in the programs and to assist
in the planning of events and educational opportunities for
the women working in their respective enterprises.
Sarah Starkey, general vounsel, Miller Automotive
Operations, is chair of the committee.
