The team included Steve Miller (MSP), Jim Brown (LEX), Dan Johnson (MAO), Scott Bates (MMC), Gran Crowell, Trent Eyre, and Chris Seare. A sampling of the performance-boosting beverages consumed during the ride. This 200-mile bicycle ride, known as the STP, boasts up to 10,000 participants riding from Seattle to Portland in one or two days. The route travels through the scenic valleys, forests, and farmlands of western Washington and Oregon.
