The Larry H . Miller Summit took place at the Montage in Park City , Utah , October 22 – 25 . Speakers from within the company included co-founder Gail Miller , CEO Steve Starks , platform presidents , and enterprise leadership , as well as board chairman , Steve Miller who introduced Miller 2030 Vision detailing the organization ’ s growth plan and goals for the next five years .
The week of learning and development began with a day of Miller family meetings and training , followed by the Philanthropy Session ( see page 11 ) and two days of Leadership Development .
KEYNOTE SPEAKER LIZ WISEMAN
During the opening day of the Leadership Development Session , attendees heard from Liz Wiseman , author of the New York Times bestselling book “ Multipliers : How the Best Leaders Make Everyone Smarter ” and CEO of the Wiseman Group .
In her keynote speech and workshop , Liz led the audience through various leadership exercises and discussions to help them discover their natural strengths and opportunities for growth .
Liz taught the group that multipliers are those who amplify the intelligence
