This award celebrates team members who go out of their way to create extraordinary moments for patients .
Diana Armitage : Celebrating three decades of hard work , Dedication and Excellence
Diana Armitage , custodial manager for Larry H . Miller Real Estate , retired in November at the age of 84 after 29 years of dedicated service .
Diana began her journey with the Larry H . Miller Company in 1995 , cleaning a Toyota dealership in Murray , Utah . She worked alone , maintaining the building six days a week . Company founder Larry H . Miller was so impressed by her work and attention to detail that he promoted her to oversee and manage the cleaning of multiple dealerships across the state . By the end of her career , she was responsible for the cleaning and building management of the Jordan Commons campus in Sandy .
In 2022 , Diana received the Larry H . Miller Values Award at the annual “ Who We Are ” event . Brad Holmes , president of Larry H . Miller Real Estate , presented her with this prestigious award and expressed gratitude for her hard work and dedication . Diana exemplified what it means to create the places Where Life Takes Place , and all that knew and worked alongside her wish her a restful and well-deserved retirement .
Recently , Dae Edwards , a certified nursing assistant , went above and beyond by returning on her day off to fulfill a patient ’ s personal request for a help with a shower , demonstrating trust and personalized care . Administrators started the recognition program this year . Other unreasonable acts include staff researching and performing a religious bath for a terminal patient and crafting a “ beam of light ” for a Sacramento Kings fan to celebrate a big win . These moments of kindness reflect AHC ’ s dedication to making every experience truly exceptional for its patients .
