SEASON OF SERVICE :
A 26-YEAR TRADITION OF GIVING BACK
Hundreds of volunteers from across the Larry H . Miller organization gathered at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City for the 26th annual Season of Service event to give back to those in our community experiencing homelessness and food insecurity .
“ Our family has hosted this event for many years , and I look forward to it each season ,” said Steve Miller , trustee of the Larry H . & Gail Miller Family Foundation and chairman of the board of the Larry H . Miller Company . “ Season of Service is more than providing a meal for one night ; it ’ s about extending hope and light into our community . I ’ m proud to carry on this tradition , and I hope it inspires everyone to give back and remind those in need that they are not alone .”
Volunteers served 5,000 traditional Thanksgiving meals to those experiencing homelessness and food insecurity , and community partners offered our guests various services , including dental cleanings , haircuts , pet care and menstrual products .
Employees at the Larry H . Miller Company also participated in a month-long clothing drive and donated various winter clothing items in all sizes for our guests .
