within the transformative and regional Downtown Daybreak urban center .
A vision for more than 20 years , Downtown Daybreak will be walkable , bikeable and interconnected by transit and trails . The vibrant new urban center will provide housing , jobs and premier entertainment throughout the masterfully planned community .
“ Downtown Daybreak will be a transformational , mixed-use
development in the fastest growing part of Salt Lake County , and we are thrilled this initial phase will be anchored by a new ballpark and cinema entertainment center ,” said Starks .
The Salt Lake Bees , the triple-A affiliate of MLB ’ s Los Angeles Angels , will enter their 30th season in 2024 and continue play at Smith ’ s Ballpark . The new Bees Ballpark in South Jordan is planned to open in 2025 .
