THE DEFINITION OF TEAMWORK:
A HOME RUN EFFORT FROM START TO FINISH
It was all hands on deck in the final weeks leading up to Opening Day at The Ballpark at America First Square. Employees from every corner of the Larry H. Miller Company— as well as construction crews, partners, and vendors— stepped up in extraordinary ways to bring this ambitious project to life.
From groundbreaking to game day, the energy, effort, and dedication poured into this ballpark have been nothing short of inspiring. Construction teams worked tirelessly, with more than 500 people on-site daily, completing the stadium in just 14 months. In the final stretch, over 400 employees volunteered roughly 1,350 hours helping prepare the ballpark— from stocking concessions and setting up merchandise shops to sweeping, mopping, and putting the final polish on every seat and surface.
The result is more than just a ballpark— it’ s a world-class venue built by people who care deeply about our mission to create places Where Life Takes Place.
“ Opening the brand new home for the Salt Lake Bees was a team effort,” said Michelle Smith, president of Miller Sports + Entertainment.“ The strength of the team is the team, and the Larry H. Miller organization is filled with incredible teammates.”
To every person who had a hand in making Opening Day and a thrilling first season in the ballpark possible— thank you. This stadium is a tribute to your hard work, heart and commitment.
