The Larry H . Miller Company partnered with Deseret News to host the Deseret News High School Sports Awards on June 10 , 2023 . This inaugural showcase welcomed students and families from around the state to recognize Utah ’ s rising talent .
“ We want to ensure that our schools , athletes and coaches know that we see them and value their incredible dedication to programs that change lives ,” noted Michelle Smith , chief people officer of the LHM Company .
The ceremony highlighted the achievements of over 150 athletes , coaches and teams across 20 + categories .
The LHM Company strives to recognize and commend the hard work and perseverance found at every level of sport in the Beehive State , and the Deseret News High School Awards reflected the company ’ s ongoing mission to honor Utah athletics in fitting and innovative ways .
