The new ballpark boasts field-level suites( where attendees are closer to the catcher than the pitcher), a stunning view of the Wasatch mountains, upgraded concessions and common areas, and MLB-level amenities for players and fans.
Larry H. Miller Real Estate, under the leadership of Brad Holmes, oversaw the construction of the ballpark from design to its completion and continues to develop the surrounding plaza with new living options, restaurants and entertainment venues. Miller Sports + Entertainment will lead day-today operations of The Ballpark at America First Square going forward.
New Light Rail stop at center field
A week before opening day at The Ballpark at America First Square, the Utah Transit Authority, City of South Jordan, the Larry H. Miller Company and partners celebrated the opening of a new TRAX station on the light rail system’ s Red Line.
“ The ability for our fans and guests to ride transit into Downtown Daybreak is a key component of this unique sports
and entertainment district,” said Brad Holmes, president of LHM Real Estate.“ Our goal is to ensure Daybreak residents and visitors have an enriching and memorable experience, and that includes how they travel.”
Construction of the new station was completed ahead of schedule and in time for the inaugural opening pitch for the Bees’ 2025 season.
The opening of The Ballpark is only the beginning of what the Larry H. Miller organization is calling a“ Season of Openings,” where we will unveil a first-class Megaplex entertainment center, an outdoor concert venue and new locations of Utah-based restaurants before the end of 2025.
