The Power District will feature local restaurants , shops , innovative residential options and a potential Major League ballpark . In addition , the sustainable and vibrant mixeduse development will be walkable , bikeable and transit-connected , with abundant green spaces , trails and a beautified Jordan River Walk .
Additionally , the neighborhood will boast breathtaking views of the Salt Lake City skyline and the Wasatch Mountains .

Development of the Power District will kick off later this year with the construction of the new headquarters for Rocky Mountain Power and remediation of the Jordan River .
