They are our foundation – a unifying theme – and they are at the heart of every decision we make ,” Steve said . He told attendees that it takes a sustained , united effort to achieve the company ’ s vision to be the best , and he encouraged everyone to learn more about the company ’ s mission , vision , and values during the summit and gain a sense of the company ’ s commitment to them .

CEO Steve Starks discussed the company ’ s significant transformation over the past two years creating significant liquidity that could have been handled a number of ways . “ It would have been easy for the Miller family to take the cash and move on with their lives but that is not the LHM way ,” Steve said . “ With the significant liquidity created through these transactions , the Miller family contributed to the Larry H . and Gail Miller Family Foundation and created a large investment reserve for us to build a world-class portfolio of businesses and investments .” Steve expressed his gratitude for the company ’ s many business and community partners and its current position and future opportunities . Above all , the company leadership , along with the Miller family , values the counsel that the employees and stakeholders provide and recognizes the importance of their contributions to the company ’ s success .
